๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป‍๐Ÿซ Overall Feedback

Great job, Ella! We covered a lot of topics today and got a lot of paraphrasing in! In general, you demonstrated strong clarity, listening comprehension, and good use of basic grammar structures. We focused today on correcting some minor grammar mistakes and adding some new vocabulary. Moving forward, I'd recommend continuing to focus on restructuring some grammatical statements broadly to improve the logical flow and make the statements more concise! Also, continue to review and implement these new vocabulary words! Great job!

โœ๐Ÿป In-depth Feedback

1. What are some good habits that you have heard of, and which ones do you think you should introduce into your daily life?

I want to introduce two habits to you. I think if I have one habit, it is better to set a small goal, like reading 5 pages a day or 20 minutes of exercise a day. I think we don't or can't read a book as much as we want. If I usually set a daunting goal like 'reading one book every two days' or exercising four hours every day. In addition, I want to introduce my good habit to you, it is "a day without consumption." sometimes when I had a hard time at work, I want to buy something at a convenience store or I want to eat delivery food, but it is expensive for me. I think it's a bad habit for me. I can bear that desire that is useless for me.

→ I'd like to introduce two habits to you that will help you feel a sense of daily achievement and also save you money. First of all, I recommend setting consistent, frequent, and easily attainable goals. Rather than setting far-off, unattainable goals, it's better to stick to manageable objectives that are more realistic. The second habit is practicing "a day without consumption" to avoid impulse buys, which helps you save money in the long run.

2. Do you have any bad habits? Which ones would you like to change and how?

I want to stop picking up my cell phone often. I usually, pick up my phone impulsively, so I don't want to take time with meaningless content on Instagram or Twitter. When I was a marketer two years ago, I had to follow trends and fashional brands and products, but now I don't need to follow trends more than before. so I think having excessive attention to SNS is not necessary for my life I think. On my iPhone, I set screen time so I every day check my screen time on Instagram one hour I spend, so I usually spend time on Instagram before one hour, so setting screen time is very useful to me.

→ I'd like to stop checking my phone so often because I'm tired of wasting time-consuming meaningless content on Instagram and Twitter. Previously, when I worked as a marketer, I had to follow trends closely, but nowadays, social media is not as crucial in my daily life. To stay disciplined, I will set "screen time" limits on apps like Instagram so that I only spend up to one hour max on the app every day.

3. What are some mental habits (routine ways of thinking) that you want to create or change and why?

Recently, I entered a boot camp now. about 100 people are there online, so I cannot see how people doing well or doing badly, so I usually compare with others, so when I doing not very well, I compare with others so why I did so badly, I'm so ... when I compare with others, I think I'm so small person and a bad person. Actually, I'm good at talking and maintaining a relationship with others, and I'm good at communicating at work with my teammates, but I usually see the people who achieve their goals, I felt that I don't have any skills or achievements, I thought. But I started to think that many people have both a light and dark side, so for example, a good actor wins a prize, but he or she has a dark side and they can afford to act behind the light scene. So I think we don't have to see others' highlights.

→ Fortunately, I spend most of my days now in the boot camp so I'm not on social media, but when I am, I often compare myself with others. Even though I have many positive attributes that I'm proud of, such as my strong communication skills and relationships, when I look at other people's posts, I suddenly feel like I am so unaccomplished. I get into a negative head-space and I feel insecure. But since then, I've realized that everyone has their highlights and low points, but despite this, everyone prefers to only post their highlights.

4. Could you tell me about an ambitious goal you have and what habits you can create to achieve it?

As I told you, I want to be a great front-end engineer. So I recently quit my job and I'm doing a challenge myself, so learning unfamiliar and difficult concepts and studying for a long time is so hard, but I believe I can do it. Every day I review a concept that I learned and I organize my own memo app or posts on my blog on T.I.L. (Today I Learned). I organized and post on my blog. it helps me organize what I learned because I think effective learning is talking to others that what I learned.

→ In the long term, I hope to become a great front-end engineer, so I am dedicating a lot of time and effort right now to do so. Since I recently quit my job, I challenge myself to learn unfamiliar and complex concepts. To keep track of my progress, I either log all of my achievements on T.I.L., which stands for Today I Learned, to keep me organized and retain what I learned, or I will share my daily lessons on my blog. Even though this studying has been extremely difficult, ultimately, I believe I can achieve my dream.
